Abstract:

A wireless base station (10) performs communication with a mobile station by OFDM system, by having, as a transmission unit, a signal including an effective period for transmitting a data signal and a redundant period for transmitting redundant data based on the data signal transmitted during the effective period. A wireless base station (10) measures the interference level of a signal transmitted from the mobile station, and in accordance with the measured interference level, changes the length of the redundancy period of a signal transmitted through a communication channel used for the communication with the mobile station.
