Abstract:
A wireless charging method and an electronic device (200), relating to the field of electronic devices, and can improve the accuracy of wireless charging coil alignment, so as to increase the wireless charging speed. When a charging device (300) provided with a second charging coil (330) is used to charge an electronic device (200) by means of a first charging coil (220), the electronic device (200) determines the signal strength of the first charging coil (220), and determines the displacement deviation of the first charging coil (220) with respect to the second charging coil (330) according to the signal strength; the electronic device (200) obtains magnetic field strength at N positions on the first charging coil (220), N being an integer greater than or equal to 3; the electronic device (200) determines the displacement direction of the first charging coil (220) with respect to the second charging coil (330) according to the magnetic field strength at the N positions on the first charging coil (220); the electronic device (200) prompts, according to the displacement deviation and the displacement direction, a user to move the electronic device (200), the moving direction being a direction indicated by the displacement direction, and the moving distance is a distance indicated by the displacement deviation.
