Abstract:
This communication device, which relays a received data signal, has: a reception quality measurement unit that calculates propagation characteristics; and a quantization compression encoding unit that, on the basis of a threshold, performs quantization compression of a logarithmic likelihood ratio obtained from a reception signal. The quantization compression encoding unit has a plurality of thresholds used in quantization, and switches between same.
