Abstract:
The present invention avoids a decrease in performance accompanying a communication error recovery process. In this wireless communication system, a packet generation unit of a transmission device generates a plurality of packets by splitting data and imparting to each unit of split data a sequence number indicating the transmission sequence. A transmission unit of the transmission device continuously transmits the plurality of packets to a reception device in accordance with the transmission sequence without confirming the reception at the reception device. A retransmission processing unit of the transmission device retransmits packets designated by a retransmission request from the reception device among the transmitted plurality of packets.
