Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a wireless communication method, a terminal device, and a network device. A codebook supporting uplink transmission based on three antenna ports is designed, the antenna gain of three-antenna-port transmission can be fully utilized, and the spectral efficiency and the peak rate can be improved. The wireless communication method comprises: a terminal device receiving a TPMI and a TRI, which are sent by a network device; the terminal device determining, according to the TPMI, a precoding matrix from a codebook which corresponds to the TRI, wherein each codeword in the codebook has three rows; the terminal device performing data precoding by using the precoding matrix; and the terminal device sending precoded data.
