Abstract:
A first and a second end-fire antenna are arranged on a dielectric substrate. The first end-fire antenna has polarization characteristics parallel to a first direction. The second end-fire antenna has polarization characteristics parallel to a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. A patch antenna provided with mutually different first power supply point and second power supply point is arranged on the dielectric substrate. When supplying power to the patch antenna from the first power supply point, electromagnetic waves are excited that have a polarization direction parallel to the first direction, and when supplying power to the patch antenna from the second power supply point, electromagnetic waves are excited that have a polarization direction orthogonal to the first direction. The provided wireless communication module is capable of securing wide directivity from a direction parallel to the substrate to the direction normal to the substrate.
