A wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention is characterized by including: two opposing first antennas that mutually transmit/receive an electromagnetic wave with a frequency higher than a predetermined frequency to/from each other; a plurality of pairs of opposing second antennas that mutually transmit/receive a direct wave with a frequency lower than a predetermined frequency to/from each other; two support members that each anchor one of the first antennas and a plurality of second antennas as one unit so as to face in the same direction, and support the two first antennas and the paired plurality of second antennas so as to face each other within a predetermined movable range; a measurement unit that measures the difference in the arrival time of the direct wave received by the plurality of second antennas anchored to one of the support members from other identical second antennas; and a detection unit that detects misalignment in the facing direction between a first antenna and the other first antenna on the basis of the difference in arrival time measured by the measurement unit.
