Abstract:
A wireless communication system is configured such that a predetermined station (STA) is provided with a terminal information collection means for collecting terminal information that is simultaneously transmitted from the predetermined and other STAs and that is used for STA selection and simultaneous transmission control, and a simultaneous transmission request means for detecting the generation of a QoS data frame from the terminal information and transmitting a request frame requesting simultaneous transmission to an access point (AP), and the AP is provided with a terminal information collection means, a simultaneous transmission determination means for selecting, upon receipt of the request frame, a combination of STAs for simultaneous transmission in accordance with the terminal information, and a trigger transmission means for transmitting, to the STAs for simultaneous transmission, a trigger frame directing simultaneous transmission and including information necessary for simultaneous transmission control, wherein the STAs designated by the trigger frame simultaneously transmit wireless frames to the AP.
