Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a wireless connection method for a battery management device, and a battery management device, which can improve the connection performance of the battery management device. The wireless connection method for a battery management device comprises: performing wireless connection with or disconnection from a first device; detecting connection/disconnection state data with the first device; and according to the connection/disconnection state data, determining whether the wireless connection with or disconnection from the first device is normal. By means of the technical solution, after the battery management device is wirelessly connected to or disconnected from the first device, the battery management device detects the connection/disconnection state data between the battery management device and the first device, and determines, according to the connection/disconnection state data, whether the wireless connection/disconnection between the battery management device and the first device is normal, which facilitates the realization of the effective monitoring of a wireless connection/disconnection state between the battery management device and the first device, thereby improving the connection performance between the battery management device and the first device.
