Abstract:
The present invention allows a system clock, a media clock, and the like to be highly accurately synchronized between devices. A wireless device is provided with a main control unit and a wireless control unit. Association information of a clock for managing the time of the main control unit and a clock for managing the time of the wireless control unit is wirelessly transmitted to another wireless device by the wireless control unit. This association information includes difference information, granularity ratio information and the like of the two clocks. For example, the wireless control unit transmits the association information as part of a frame for measuring the time of the wireless control unit in relation to the other wireless device or as part of a frame for connection with the other wireless device.
