Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a wireless power transmission device, and a near object detection method of the wireless power transmission device. The wireless power transmission device of the present disclosure comprises: a power amplifier; a transmission resonator, which includes a coil and is configured to receive an electric signal corresponding to a first frequency output through the power amplifier and to transmit power by forming a magnetic field by means of the electric signal corresponding to the received first frequency; and an antenna, which has a form corresponding to any one side and has a symmetric axis of a split ring resonator (SRR) antenna as the center thereof, is arranged to be close to the transmission resonator, and is configured to receive a signal corresponding to a second frequency; a sensing circuit configured to sense at least a part of the signal, which corresponds to the second frequency and is transmitted to the antenna; and a controller configured to check, on the basis of the signal sensed through the sensing circuit, whether the human body approaches, wherein a first output terminal of the sensing circuit is connected to a first part of the antenna, and a second output terminal of the sensing circuit can be connected to the coil of the transmission resonator.
