Abstract:
In the present invention, the following are provided: a power transmission device (101) that imparts AC voltage to an active electrode (14) and a passive electrode (15); and a power reception device (201) for supplying, to a load (RL), voltage induced in an active electrode (24) and a passive electrode (25) which face the active electrode (14) and the passive electrode (15) respectively. The power reception device (201) detects the voltage supplied to the load (RL) from the active electrode (14) and the passive electrode (15) using partial resistors (R2, R3), and on the basis of modulated signals generated on the basis of the detection results, changes the resonant point of a resonant circuit of the power reception device (201). The power transmission device (101) reads the modulation signal from the change amount of a DC current (IDC), and on the basis of the read modulation signal, controls the voltage to be imparted to the active electrode (14) and the passive electrode (15). Due to this configuration, provided is a wireless power transmission system that prevents over voltage of each part of a circuit and that can efficiently transmit power from a power transmission device to a power reception device.
