Abstract:
A wireless power transmitter, according to an embodiment, comprises: a transmitting coil; a DC/DC converter configured to output a driving voltage; an inverter configured to output AC power to the transmitting coil; and a controller, wherein the controller is configured to: output a first control signal for generating the AC power of a first frequency to the inverter; measure a demodulated voltage generated by demodulating a signal applied to the transmitting coil; and output, to the inverter, a second control signal for generating the AC power of a second frequency different from the first frequency on the basis of a first peak-to-peak value identified in the demodulated voltage being equal to or greater than a preset first value, and wherein the inverter may output the AC power of the second frequency to the transmitting coil on the basis of the second control signal. Other embodiments are possible.
