Abstract:
Provided is a wireless relay station that is provided in a moving vehicle. The wireless relay station receives a downlink wireless signal from a fixed base station outside of the vehicle, and transmits a downlink wireless signal originating from the downlink wireless signal from the fixed base station to destination user device in the vehicle. In addition, the wireless relay station receives uplink wireless signals from multiple user devices in the vehicle, and transmits an uplink wireless signal originating from the uplink wireless signals from the user devices to the fixed base station. The wireless relay station receives from the multiple user devices an auxiliary wireless signal indicating the downlink wireless signal transmitted by the fixed base station, detects, in the received auxiliary signals, a downlink wireless signal intended for a user device in the vehicle, and transmits that downlink wireless signal to that user device.
