Abstract:
The wireless terminal according to one embodiment can perform relay between another wireless terminal and a base station using direct inter-terminal communications. The wireless terminal comprises: a control unit that controls a discovery procedure for the relay; and a reception unit that receives, from a base station, information on a wireless resource that is to be used in the discovery procedure for the relay. The reception unit receives, from the base station, a threshold value for determining whether the discovery procedure for the relay can be executed using the wireless resource. When the reception strength of wireless signals from the base station satisfies the threshold value, the control unit determines that the discovery procedure can be executed.
