Abstract:
The present invention relates to a WNT10-derived peptide, a composition comprising the same for reducing hair-loss and improving skin, and a composition comprising the same for treating WNT10 signaling-related disease and DKK-1 protein-induced disease. The WNT1-derived peptide of the present invention has an equivalent or similar function of natural WNT10 protein; superior safety to that of natural WNT10 protein; and good skin permeability. Thus, the composition comprising the peptide of the present invention has an excellent effect for reducing hair-loss (for example, promoting hair-growth or hair-formation), exercises an outstanding effect for treating WNT10 signaling-related disease and DKK-1 protein-induced disease. Also, since the peptide of the present invention has excellent activity and safety, it could be advantageously applied into medicine, quasi-drugs, and cosmetics.
