TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to a wooden straw, which can be made of any kind of tree, in different sizes, diameters, and shapes (triangular, square, rectangular, polygonal, round, elliptical) and to a production method thereof.
BACKGROUND
Currently, the use of disposable plastic straws is quite common when consuming beverages. In order to prevent the damage caused by plastic products to environmental pollution and nature, many countries have been taking various actions and measures to reduce or completely abandon the use of these products. Since it takes long years for plastic to be disposed of in nature, the production of wooden straws has been an alternative in order to avoid the harm of plastic straws to the environment and nature.
THE OBJECTS AND DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The object of this invention is to enable the use and production of wooden straws produced from all kinds of trees, in different sizes, diameters, and shapes, which will be used as an alternative to disposable plastic straws that pose a danger to the environment and nature. This invention is a wooden straw, and the main stages of the production method, which can be made from all kinds of trees in different sizes, diameters, and shapes (triangle, square, rectangle, polygon, round, ellipse), are given below;
1. Cutting the wood to the desired length and thickness,
2. Carving marks on the prepared wood with a tracing machine (FIGURE 1 and FIGURE 2)
3. Applying an authorized (suitable for indirect contact with food) glue to the marked wood,
4. Stacking the glued wood on top of each other, (FIGURE 4)
5. Pressing the stacked wood, (FIGURE 4)
6. First milling the upper surface of the pressed wood with a wood milling machine to the desired shape, then milling the lower surface and separating the straws from each other Optional coloring of the ready-made straws with natural or food coloring and logo printing, Wrapping the finalized straws (FIGURE 3) after the sterilization process and preparing them for shipment,
