A word processing method and apparatus, and a mobile terminal and a storage medium. The method comprises: identifying text in current page content and performing word segmentation (S110); displaying a word segmentation result card, the word segmentation result card comprising a word segmentation widget corresponding to segmented words in the text (120); detecting an operation of a user on the word segmentation widget (130); and when the operation is a sliding operation, obtaining a first sliding trajectory corresponding to the sliding operation, and using all segmented words corresponding to the word segmentation widget in the first sliding trajectory as selected words (S140). According to the method, a user can select desired words just by performing a sliding operation on the desired words in page content. It is convenient for the user to operate.
