Abstract:
A hydraulic shovel (1) is provided with a vehicle body (2), a work machine (3), a display unit (6), a detection unit (4), and a display control unit (77). The vehicle body (2) comprises an operating seat (231). The work machine (3) is attached to the vehicle body (2) and moves with respect to the vehicle body (2). The display unit (6) is disposed on the work machine (3). The detection unit (4) detects objects around the vehicle body (2) in an area (R1) on the side of the work machine (3) opposite the operating seat (231). The display control unit (77) displays information detected by the detection unit (4) on the display unit (6).
