Abstract:
A work machine comprising: a work device; an operation device for operating the work device; a first control device that controls operation of the work device on the basis of operation of the operation device; and a second control device that determines that auto idle conditions are satisfied if the operation device is not operated for a prescribed period of time, and executes auto idle control to decrease the engine speed to the idle speed. When the power supply to the first control device starts, the first control device diagnoses whether or not the first control device has a fault. The second control device executes power shutdown control to shut down the power supply to the first control device when auto idle conditions are satisfied and then executes power supply control to start power supply to the first control device.
