Abstract:
In the present invention, a hydraulic excavator (1) is provided with a vehicle body (2), a counterweight (3), a mount bracket (6), and an operation unit (7). The counterweight (3) can be attached/detached to/from a frame part (12b) of the rear of the vehicle body (2). The mount bracket (6) is arranged on the frame part (12b) so as to be able to change between a placement state in which the counterweight (3) is set thereon in a state where the counterweight (3) has been mounted onto the vehicle body (2), and a removal state for when the counterweight (3) is removed from the vehicle body (2). The operation unit (7) is arranged on the opposite side from the counterweight (3) at the frame part (12b) as seen in the vehicle front/back direction, and operates so that the mount bracket (6) enters either the placement state or the removal state.
