Provided is a work machine (1) wherein hydraulic actuator responsiveness when performing prescribed work can be improved.　This work machine (1) comprises: a machine body (2); a work device (work device 4, dozer device 7) that is installed on the machine body (2); a hydraulic actuator (C5, C3, C4, C1) that drives the work device; a control valve (V1, V2, V7, V3, V6) that switches the supply status of a hydraulic fluid with regard to the hydraulic actuator; an operation member (41) that receives operation instructions for the hydraulic actuator; and a control device (U1) that controls the action of the control valve in response to an operation of the operation member (41). The control device (U1) can perform second control, in which the action of the control valve is controlled on the basis of the amount of operation of the operation member (41) and a correspondence relationship between the amount of operation of the operation member (41) and the amount of action of the control valve, said correspondence relationship being configured in advance, and first control, in which the action of the control valve is controlled such that the flow rate of the hydraulic fluid that is supplied from the control valve to the hydraulic actuator increases more in response the amount of operation of the operation member (41) than during the second control, and performs the first control when the operation of the operation member (41) is of a prescribed operation status.
