Abstract:
Provided is a lightweight work shoe which is easy to walk in, and with which high slip resistance can be obtained consistently. In a work shoe 1 comprising an upper 2 and an outsole 3 including a base part 31 joined to the base of the upper 2 and a block design 32 formed on the undersurface of the base part 31, the outsole 3 is formed such that the base part 31 is uniformly thick over substantially the entire surface thereof. A hollow structure 22 is provided in a heel part 12 of the upper base 21. The hollow structure 22 is open on top with thick-walled portions 23 and 24 on part of the bottom surface.
