Abstract:
Provided is a working machine including a satisfactory illuminating device. In a grinder 10, illuminating devices 80 are provided in both left and right side portions of a rear end portion of a gear housing 27, and are disposed above a wheel guard 76. More specifically, a holder 84 of each illuminating device 80 is visibly exposed from an outer peripheral portion of the gear housing 27, and the holder 84 is visibly disposed when viewed from the front. Furthermore, when LEDs 81 of the illuminating devices 80 emit light as a result of an operation performed by an operator on an operating unit 60, the periphery of a lower portion (in other words, a grinding wheel 75) of a spindle 71 is illuminated by the emitted light. In other words, light emitted toward the grinding wheel 75 from the illuminating devices 80 provided in both side portions of the housing 20 is not blocked, and the grinding wheel 75 disposed around the lower portion of the spindle 71 can be illuminated by said light. The lower portion (in other words, the grinding wheel 75) of the spindle 71 can therefore be satisfactorily illuminated.
