Abstract:
Provided is a workpiece holding apparatus that enables welding quality to be improved. The workpiece holding apparatus (clamp apparatus) (90) holds the form of a workpiece (a chain terminal (T2)), and is provided with a holding means which, while a plate-like workpiece is bent into a cylindrical body and one end (Td) and the other end (Te) of the bent cylindrical body (the chain terminal (T2)) are joined to form a tubular body (a crimping part (Ta)), brings the one end (Td) and the other end (Te) into contact and holds the cylindrical body.
