Abstract:
This workpiece machining device can perform machining of a workpiece by using a machining tool, the workpiece machining device comprising: a detection unit which detects a detectable physical quantity, which is a physical quantity relating to the machining of the workpiece and is detectable, for every detection point at a predetermined interval in a monitoring range for monitoring the state of the detectable physical quantity; a storage device which stores machining data, which is real detection data obtained through actual detection by the detection unit; a group forming unit which forms one or a plurality of groups by dividing the real detection data stored in the storage device in accordance with a preset number of the detection points from a monitoring start point to a monitoring end point in the monitoring range; and a setting unit which sets an upper limit value and a lower limit value of the monitoring range on the basis of the real detection data belonging to the respective groups for each group formed by the group forming unit.
