A wound-covering preparation containing a polymer having a group represented by formula (I) (wherein R?1¿, R?2¿, and R?3¿ are the same or different and each represents hydrogen or C¿1-4? alkyl, and m is an integer of 2 to 4); a wound-covering material containing the preparation; and a method of wound healing which comprises the step of covering the wound of a patient with the wound-covering material to protect the wound.
