Abstract:
Disclosed is a wound-field rotating electric machine comprising a stator, a rotor, and a refrigerant flow path that is in communication with a pump for pumping a liquid refrigerant, wherein: a stator coil includes a coil end portion projecting in the axial direction from the end surface of a stator core in the axial direction; the end of field winding in the axial direction projects in the axial direction from the end surface of the rotor core in the axial direction and is covered with a resin portion; further, the rotor has a cover member that covers the end of the field winding in the axial direction; the liquid refrigerant is supplied at an end surface of the cover member on the outside in the axial direction via the refrigerant flow path; and the end surface of the cover member on the outside in the axial direction has a recessed portion extending to the inside in the axial direction from the end of the field winding in the axial direction between the tooth portions of the rotor core in the circumferential direction when viewed in the axial direction.
