Abstract:
A woven fabric for preventing of any landscape-orientation movement of a surface
printing layer of printing blanket, and a woven fabric for preventing of any intrusion
of cleaning liquid from a blanket lateral side and bottom surface while ensuring
the adherence to another support layer; and a printing blanket making use of such
woven fabrics. There is provided a woven fabric for printing blanket, comprising
a warp of spun yarn or multifilament yarn and a weft of monofilament of 50 to 300
d fineness, wherein the weft is in linear form in the woven fabric. Further, there
is provided a woven fabric for printing blanket, comprising a warp and a weft having
undergone oil-repelling treatment, wherein the amount of weft appearing on
one major surface of the woven fabric is in the range of 60 to 80% in area ratio represented
by textile texture diagram. Still further, there is provided a printing blanket
wherein such woven fabrics are used in a support layer of surface printing layer.
