Abstract:
A writing board for electronic blackboards and the like eliminates a trouble of wiping the board with a hand when what is written on the board is to be totally erased. Writing is performed by means of a writing instrument (14) on a surface of a front-side stretched portion of an endless recording medium (12), which is provided in an writing blackboard (10). A writing instrument using an ink which can be readily erased with a cleaner liquid (37) is used. Provided on a stretched portion of the recording medium (12) on a back side is a cleaner (26) which faces an outer surface of the medium. When what is written is to be totally erased, an erase switch (20a) is operated to convey the recording medium (12) and actuate a pump (34). Accordingly, the cleaner liquid (37) in a storage container (32) is circulated through the cleaner (26) via tubes (30, 33) to be attached through an opening (26b) of the cleaner (26) to a surface of the recording medium being conveyed.
