Abstract:
In the case in which image reconstruction is performed by means of a retrospective scan, a cache hit rate drops as a result of unused projection data being transferred to a cache memory. Because of this, a processor generates reconstructed projection data by extracting a first set of a plurality of segments from original projection data stored in a memory 205 for saving the original projection data, stores said data in a main memory 212, and generates second view weights for associating first view weights with the reconstructed projection data (209); the reconstructed projection data stored in the main memory 212 are transferred to the cache memory 213 in advance; and the processor generates first tomographic image data by using the reconstructed projection data and the second view weights (214).
