Abstract:
Provided is an X-ray image conversion screen that enables imaging of a high quality X-ray image in a high-sensitivity region. This X-ray image conversion screen includes: a support substrate; and a fluorescent layer that is laminated on the support substrate, wherein the fluorescent layer contains a gadolinium oxysulfide fluorescent material which uses, as an activator, at least one selected from the group consisting of Tb, Pr, Ce, Yb, and Eu, and the X-ray image conversion screen has a sensitivity of at least 1.9×103, and satisfies expression (1): y-(-29x+1.75×105)≥5×103, where x and y respectively denote the sensitivity and the q'DQE of the X-ray image conversion screen.
