Abstract:

An X-ray photographing device for a tire capable of providing excellent images without distortion and blurring over all the periphery and width of the tire and an X-ray photographing method using the X-ray photographing device. A first line sensor (3) is disposed, in an attitude parallel with a tire center axis (C), on the radial outer side of the tread part (TR) of the tire mounted on a rotary device at a position displaced from a surface including a reference line (L) and the tire center axis (C) within the range of the azimuth of an X-ray source (2). Two degrees of freedom as the degrees of freedom of displacement within a reference plane (H) are given to the first line sensor while the orientation of a light receiving surface (3a) relative to the X-ray source (2) is maintained. Second and third line sensors (4) and (5) are disposed on a line formed by moving the reference line (L) in a direction parallel with the tire center axis (C) on the tire lateral outer sides of both side wall parts (S) of the tire mounted on the rotary device, and so formed that can be displaced in the direction of the tire center axis (C).
