Abstract:
The present invention pertains to: a xanthene derivative compound having a high refractive index; and a method for producing same. More specifically, the present invention pertains to: a high refractive index monomer that has a xanthene-based composite cardo structure and can be used in optical resins requiring a refractive index of at least 1.7; a (co)polymer prepared therefrom; and an optical lens. Using the xanthene-based composite cardo structure of the present invention minimizes molecular chain fluidity, and thus the xanthene-based composite cardo structure can be used in the production of optical resins having a high glass transition temperature and excellent thermal stability.
