Abstract:

The present invention reliably prevents yarn in loose condition from being wound around a package while suppressing an increase in the time required for catching a yarn end. When a signal indicating the non-running condition of yarn (Y) is output from a yarn clearer (22) or a yarn feeler (19) during the formation of a package (P), a unit controller (33) controls a winding portion (13) so as to continuously rotate the package (P) for a predetermined period of continuous rotation while increasing the rotational speed of the package (P).
