Abstract:
[Problem] To perform selective hydrogenolysis of a cyclic compound that has a five-member ring structure and is included in an aromatic compound used as a hydrogen carrier. [Solution] Provided is a zeolite composite catalyst to be used in hydrogenolysis of a cyclic compound that has a five-member ring structure and is included in an aromatic compound used as a hydrogen carrier, the zeolite composite catalyst containing aluminum or gallium, and also containing a zeolite having an MFI-type structure as a binder.
