Abstract:

A zeolite which has a framework density of 10 to 16 T/nm³ and a carbon content of 1 to 6 wt %, and satisfies the following (1) and (2): (1) it is an aluminophosphate wherein it has a nitrogen content of 0.5 to 12 wt % and wherein a part of aluminum is optionally substituted with Me, and (2) it is an silicoaluminophosphate wherein a part of aluminum is optionally substituted with Me and wherein when said silicoaluminophosphate is fired into a product having a carbon content of less than 0.3 wt %, the skeleton structure before the firing is retained, where in the above (1) and (2) the Me is at least one element selected from the elements belonging to 2A, 7A, 8, 1B and 2B Groups of the Periodic Table; a method for producing the zeolite; an adsorbent comprising the zeolite; and a heat utilization system or the like using the adsorbent. The above zeolite is reduced in the deterioration of performance capabilities owing to repeated use or the use for a long period of time.
