Abstract:
A zirconium crucible for analysis, characterized by having a purity excluding gas components of 3N or higher and a content of oxygen present as a gas component of 500 mass ppm or lower. In view of recent analytical techniques in which assaying a high-purity material rapidly and accurately is required, use of the zirconium crucible for analysis, which has a high purity, inhibits impurities from coming therefrom and eliminates a two-stage separation/decomposition step in the analysis of samples in which oxides and metals in various forms coexist, such as sludges, sediment samples, and soils, to heighten the durability of the high-purity zirconium. Thus, the zirconium crucible can be used more times.
