Abstract:

Zofimarin derivatives of the general formula (I), pharmacologically acceptable esters of the same, or salts thereof, exhibiting excellent antimycotic activity: (I) wherein X is formyl or cyano; and A is CH=N-O-R?a¿, -CH¿2?-S(=O)¿g?-R?b¿, or CH¿2?-O-N=CR?c¿R?d¿ (wherein g is 0, 1 or 2; and R?a¿, R?b¿, R?c¿ and R?d¿ are each independently hydrogen or a group selected from among C¿1-18? alkyl, C¿3-12? cycloalkyl, C¿3-18? cycloalkylalkyl, C¿6-12? aryl, C¿7-20? aralkyl, heterocyclic, heterocyclylalkyl, heteroaryl, heteroaralkyl and so on, each group being optionally substituted).
