[Problem] To achieve a zoom lens that is small and has high optical performance. [Solution] A first lens group (G1) that has negative power and a second lens group that has positive power (G2) are arranged in the given order from the object side such that the interval between the first lens group (G1) and the second lens group (G2) is changed during the zoom process.
