Abstract:
This zoom lens has, in order from the object side, a negative first lens group (G1), a positive second lens group (G2), a negative third lens group (G3), and a positive fourth lens group (G4). When changing the magnification of this zoom lens, the first through third lens groups (G1-G3) move along the optical axis while the fourth lens group (G4) remains fixed. When focusing, a focusing group consisting of at least part of the second lens group (G2) moves along the optical axis. A movable group consisting of at least part of the third lens group (G3) moves so as to include a component in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis. A prescribed condition is satisfied. This zoom lens thus exhibits good optical performance when controlling vibration and when focusing on nearby objects.
