Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator with a voice output device capable of giving a warning against excessive approaching to a landing door to a person waiting for arrival of a car within a space surrounded by a jamb and transmitting presence of a passenger in the car.SOLUTION: An elevator 10 is provided with one or more photoelectric sensors at each floor, and the photoelectric sensor has a light emission unit that is attached to one side wall part of a jamb and emits light toward the other side wall part, and a light reception unit that is attached to the other side wall part and receives the light emitted from the light emission unit. The elevator 10 is further provided with: a weight sensor 25 that can detect whether or not there is a person in a car; and a control panel 19 that causes a landing voice output device 26 of a particular floor to output a voice indicating alighting of a person from a car 11 when the presence of a person in the car and the presence of a person in a space of the particular floor surrounded by a jamb are recognized on the basis of a signal from the photoelectric sensor and a signal from the weight sensor 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
