PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a filter medium for an air filter that uses nano-cellulose and is improved in filter performance, especially, particulate collecting performance, and to provide a method for manufacturing an air filter.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a filter medium for an air filter includes: an adhesion step of causing a fluid dispersion containing nano-cellulose to adhere to a support medium applied with pleat processing and having fluid permeable property; and a drying step of drying the support medium after the adhesion step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
