Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display excellent in appearance even in a case where a light source turns off.SOLUTION: A display includes: a light guide plate 1 configured to propagate light made incident from an end surface, reflect it on a prism 4 provided on a reflection surface, and emit it from an emission surface facing to the reflection surface; a light source 2 configured to make light incident into the end surface of the light guide plate 1; a shielding plate 8 having a light transmissive part 8a provided on the emission surface side of the light guide plate 1 and configured to transmit light emitted from the emission surface, and a light shielding part 8b having a lower light transmissivity than the light transmissive part 8a; and a coloring plate 9 having a light reflectivity closer to a light reflectivity of the light shielding part 8b than a light reflectivity of the light transmissive part 8a in each wavelength, and provided on the reflection surface side of the light guide plate 1 so as to overlap with the light transmissive part 8a of the light shielding plate 8 in a view from a direction vertical to the emission surface of the light guide plate 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
