Abstract:
To provide a drive assisting system that is able to improve a driving skill of a driver through driving assistance.SOLUTION: A vehicle drive assisting system comprises: a required drive capability estimating section (a D estimating section) 22 that estimates a drive demand D required for each of drivers E, Ein order to drive a vehicle in a traffic environment, on the basis of a traffic environment around the vehicle and a drive assistance provided by the vehicle V; a current drive capability estimating section (a P estimating section) 21 that estimates a drive performance P of each driver E, E; and an alternating section 23 that, in a case where the drive performance P is lower than the drive demand D, performs a reduction process for reducing the drive demand D.
