Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the length of an on-vehicle power control unit in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle having the power control unit with a lamination unit on which power modules and chillers are laminated.SOLUTION: A vehicle which is disclosed by the present specification is provided with: a transaxle 90 which accommodates a motor for driving wheels; and a power control unit (PCU 2) which is fixed onto the transaxle 90. The PCU 2 is provided with: a lamination unit 40 on which a plurality of power modules 6 accommodating power semiconductor elements for power conversion and a plurality of chillers 46 are laminated; and reactors 4a, 4b. The lamination unit 40 is arranged in a housing 20 of the PCU 2 so that a lamination direction of the power modules 6 and the chillers 46 turns to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Reactors 4a, 4b are arranged in the housing 20 so as not to overlap with the lamination unit 40 viewing from the lamination direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
