Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of optical fiber cable capable of suppressing twist back of SZ twisted optical fiber bundle with a simple constitution, and a manufacturing device of optical fiber cable.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an optical fiber cable 100 includes: an SZ twist step of forming an optical fiber bundle B by SZ twisting multiple optical fibers or multiple optical fiber units 5 using an SZ twist device 12, and a sheathing step of sheathing the optical fiber bundle using an extrusion molding device 14. In the sheathing step, the optical fiber bundle is sheathed while pressing the optical fiber bundle with a pressing part 13 disposed between the SZ twist device and the extrusion molding device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
