Abstract:
To provide a directional electromagnetic steel sheet for controlling a laser magnetic domain, high in magnetic domain controlling effect even with low laser power, and achieve a directional electromagnetic steel sheet achieving low iron loss and low magnetostriction at high level.SOLUTION: There is provided a directional electromagnetic steel sheet for controlling a laser magnetic domain having a steel sheet containing Si of 0.8 mass% to 7.0 mass%, a glass coated film arranged on both surfaces of the steel sheet, and a tension coating arranged on both surfaces of the glass coated film respectively, in which the glass coated film contains a crystalline forsterite of 70 mass% or more, average crystal particle diameter of the forsterite is 0.3 to 1.5 μm, and maximum length of an area that forsterite having particle diameter of 0.5 μm or less is continued on the surface of the steel sheet is less than 5.0 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
