Abstract:
To provide a motor vehicle which enables an EGR passage and a vehicle structure to be separated from each other while achieving compactification of an engine.SOLUTION: An engine 1 includes: an exhaust emission control system 70 which houses a GPF device 73 for purifying exhaust gas; and an EGR passage 52 which is connected with a portion located at the downstream of the GPF device 73 in the exhaust emission control system 70. The engine 1 is configured to be mounted in an engine room R defined at a front part of a vehicle body. The exhaust emission control system 70 is disposed so as to be located in front of a dash panel 103 forming the engine room R and extend toward a tunnel part T of the dash panel 103. An upstream end part 52c of the EGR passage 52 is connected to a lower part of the exhaust emission control system 70 as in a vehicle vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
