Abstract:
To provide a focal plane shutter which appropriately operates even if it is left at a set position for a long time, and suppresses a noise generating in setting.SOLUTION: A focal plane shutter includes a bottom board having an opening, a vane which operates to open and close the opening, an arm connected to the vane, a movable member 13 connected to the arm and providing driving force via the arm to the vane, a set lever 18 rotatably supported around a set lever shaft 15 in a predetermined region so as to push the movable member 13 to move the movable member to a predetermined position before running, a first set energization member arranged on the set lever shaft 15 and providing energization force to the set lever 18 over the whole of the predetermined region when the set lever 18 moves from a set completion position to a stand-by position, and a second set energization member providing, in the vicinity of an operation start position, energization force to the set lever 18 in the same direction as the first set energization member when the set lever 18 moves from the set completion position to the stand-by position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
